For Kindergarten Students Only!

Must be 5 years old on or by September 1st

Mountain Home School District will offer kindergarten readiness information
and registration for incoming kindergartners at all of the elementary schools.

Please bring your child's
~ Birth Certificate/Passport ~
~ and Shot Record ~

Incoming Kindergarten Students Should Be Able To:
~ Identify capital letters (random order) ~
~ Write first name (block letters) ~
~ Detect rhyme ("hat, cat" - Do these rhyme?) ~
~ Understand syllables ~
~ Count to ten ~
~ Identify the 8 basic colors and 4 standard shapes ~
~ Sing the alphabet ~
