"For the first meet of the season, we had some performances the athletes can continue to improve.   I'm really pleased with our throwers.  They stepped up for the first meet and threw a lot of personal bests.  We had some athletes, both boys and girls, that did not compete due to basketball and wrestling tournaments and also not having enough practices.  Everyone will be ready for our next meet Friday." stated coach Urquidi. Not having everyone makes it hard to put together relays and fill all the events.  Coach Urquidi said, "Friday at Caldwell we will have all the events filled and we should be competitive."

The Tigers will be in action on Friday, March 16 at Caldwell High School.  They are in a triangular with Caldwell and Nampa.  They return home the following Wednesday, with a dual against the Kuna Cavemen.
