MHHS Encore Co. will host a scene showcase on Thursday, November 20 in the MHHS gym at 6 pm.  There is no cost for admission to the showcase and patrons can feel free to come and go between acts.  Scenes include solo and ensemble acting .

 Link will be visiting the Jr High  on Thursday instead of Wednesday during 3rd period. We will meet in room H at 12:15.  

December 4-  Financial Aide Night for Seniors and Parents

                         

 The annual 366th FW Airman's Homemade Holiday Cookie and Cards Drive time has arrived. Please check the fliers around the school for more new details.

Attention Seniors:  The College of Southern Idaho is hosting a Senior Day  titled “Treasure Valley Day” on Friday, December 5th.  There are free perks with this day including: “T-shirts”, Lunch on Campus, and various Prizes.  Also, a free charter bus ride to CSI.  The bus will pick-up MHHS seniors at 7:30 A.M. at the Pilot Truck Stop and return at between 4:00 – 5:30.  This is open to the first 130 students across the Treasure Valley to R.S.V.P. Irrigation Equipment Association Scholarship for students destined for water utilization-related fields.  Scholarships range from $500 - $1,200.  Deadline is February 15, 2009.

Pride Foundation Scholarship – Over 50 types of scholarships with awards up to $10,000 – applications must be postmarked by Friday, January 23, 2009

Gates Millennium Scholarship:      Deadline is January 12, 2009.

·        Nov. 28, 2008 – The deadline to enter into the Council for America’s First Freedom’s 16th annual First Freedom Student Competition. compete for a $3,000, $1,500 or $750 award  visit www.firstfreedom.org.
