SBAC TESTING SCHEDULE 2014

Junior High students will begin testing on the Common Core Standards on Monday, April 14th and finishing April 24th. The goal is to give the students an opportunity of being exposed to the new testing requirements without pulling them out of the classroom and loosing instruction over multiple days for an extended period of time. Each student will be given a block of time to complete each part of the test. If a student does not finish the test within the block of time scheduled, he/she will not be expected to finish the test. Students who are absent on the day in which they are scheduled to test, will be scheduled to make up the test.

Part of the test will require audio and students should bring their own headphones or ear buds, if available. Each testing proctor will have headphones to check out if necessary. During the testing window, there will not be a late start for teacher collaboration, classes will begin at 7:50 am.

Below is a list of testing dates for the grade level academic teams. Students will take the Math test first and the following week they will take the English and Language Arts test and the days in which their academic team tests. Students who are not testing, will follow their normal bell schedule.
