After-School Academic Support Program

Students  have the opportunity to stay after school and receive help with their studies.  Right now we have 2 staff members heading up the programs.  Between the two of them, academic support will be offered from 3:10PM – 4:00 PM each week, Monday through Thursday.

Students will be provided a snack each day they attend.  Other incentives for marked improvements may follow.  Unfortunately, transportation will need to be arranged, since we cannot offer this service.

The specific information on the teachers’ schedules is as follows:

  • Mr. Kerfoot (Room 226) will hold “Tutoring” sessions Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. He will work primarily with math, though always willing to help in other areas.

  • Mr. Lopez (Room 219) will hold “Homework Club” on Mondays and Tuesdays. He is slated to work with other subjects (besides math), but also will help in any needed subject.

If you can help us by directing your child to the classroom in which your child needs help, it will help streamline this process.

Thank you,
Mr. Gunderson

Attention Parents/Guardians
