Current Employees:  In order to continue employment with Mountain Home School District #193, all paraeducators employed prior to August 1, 2004 are required to meet the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) academic qualifications and requirements by January 8, 2006.

New Hires:  All newly hired paraeducators must meet the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) academic qualifications and requirements prior to full or part time employment.  Until credentials are provided or test is passed, the applicant will only be on a temporary basis, with no benefits.

The No Child Left Behind (NCLB) ACT requires that paraeducators complete the district provided paraeducator training.
