Please be aware that during the 2007-08 school year, the Mountain Home School District will continue to have five shortened school days to allow staff the opportunity for curriculum development. In the past, this was accomplished through Late Start days. At the request of patrons and staff, the Board of Trustees has approved Early Release days instead. Students will be dismissed from school at 1:30 p.m. on the dates listed below, with the busses running their normal routes.

During the afternoon of the Early Release days, the full staff and administration will focus on the continued improvement of curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Our goal is to proceed toward a program of study that is fully coordinated from kindergarten through high school graduation, focusing on proficiency for all students.
