The Mountain Home School Board has temporarily closed Stephensen Middle School
on Mountain Home AFB effective with the 2002-2003 school year.
This move was prompted by state holdbacks with cuts in educational funding and the drop
in enrollment figures of students on Mountain Home AFB.

Sixth grade students will be attending Liberty Elementary School and seventh grade
students will be bussed to Hacker Middle School in Mountain Home.
