What Is Parents As Teachers?

• Parents As Teachers (PAT) is an international early childhood parent education and family support program.
• It is active in all 50 states and several foreign countries.
• PAT is headquartered in St. Louis, MO and has been offered in all Missouri school districts since 1985 through public and private funding.
• Our PAT program is funded by the Mountain Home School District #193 and a grant from the Generation of the Child Initiative.
• Our PAT program serves children from prenatal to kindergarten entry.
• The PAT program is free with no entry restrictions.
• The PAT program is available to families living in Mountain Home School District #193.
• PAT objectives are achieved through monthly personal visits with families, regular group meetings, child screening and health assessments.
